Acrylic Paint
one of the most versatile mediums, and one of the least toxic.

Chalk
a form of limestone, it is soft & porous

Clothes Pegs
AKA clothespin
wooden or plastic fastener used to hang up clothes for drying
found on clotheslines or in laundries.

Elastic Rubber Bands
A loop of rubber, usually ring-shaped,
commonly used to hold multiple objects together.
Usually found holding newspapers together

old brushes
Formed from a handle, ferrule and bristles, time has left these
scraggly from old paint, glue, or missing bristles
Brushes can easily be ruined from improper care, which is perfect for us
for example, brushes used for glue often becomes old paint brushes

PaintBrushes

Paper Clips
usually made from bend steel in a looped shape,
a device used to hold sheets of paper together

Pencil
wood encases a graphite & clay core,
used mainly for drawing or writing

Permanent Marker
containing semi-permanent ink which is water-resistant,
capable of writing on a variety of surfaces

Podge
a non-toxic glue, sealer, and finish,
designed and used for craft and art projects
Podge can be harder to find but easy to make.
for example, in craft shops, or simply make your own

Scissors
A pair of scissors consists of a pair of sharp metal blades,
used for cutting various thin materials

Sieve
a plastic/metal basket mesh strainer,
used for separating wanted elements from unwanted material
Commonly found in kitchens and bakeries
for example, somewhere they make bread and other baked goods

Spray Bottle
an old discarded plastic cleaning item
that can squirt, spray or mist fluid
Commonly found as a cleaning product container
for example, under the sink in the kitchen or in the cleaning cupboard

Two-Hole Punch
a metal & plastic office tool
used to create holes in thin materials
Many offices have two-hole punches
for example, any office with two-hole binders
toymakers use these devices to make holes in unnatural resources

Wood/Craft Glue
best known as white glue, carpenter’s glue, school glue or Elmers glue.
it is an aliphatic rubbery synthetic polymer
wood glue is common and can be found everywhere
for example, hardware stores, pick n pay, walmart, game, cna, etc.
